Magnetic Head Pulleys
Magnetic Head Pulleys
- Magnetic head pulleys are widely used in the recycling industry to separate steel from aluminum cans.
- As drum magnets on belt conveyors, they also provide maximum, continuous protection against tramp iron contamination in the processing of materials such as chemicals, plastics, grains, food products, ceramic and coal.
- Our self-cleaning pulley magnets are equally effective in the separation of both large and fine metal particles from non-ferrous material.
- These easily installed pulleys provide permanent magnetic strength and require no maintenance.
- Our magnetic pulleys are available in standard diameters of 4″, 6″, 8″, 12″, 15″, 16″, and 18″. Face and shaft sizes are available per customer request.
- Pulley magnets are constructed with a stainless steel shell and are available with either radial or axial poles.
- Magnetic pulley shafts are welded on 4, 6, and 8-inch models and are removable on all other sizes.
- Vulcanized or rubber lagging and stainless steel shafts are optional on magnetic pulleys.
Fact: Magnetic Head Pulleys are used in a wide array of industries. In certain instances, head pulleys are used in conjunction with belt magnets to act as an “insurance policy to ensure that no metal remains. From aggregate processing to sand and gravel operations, magnetic pulleys play an integral role in keeping operations running smoothly.
