After years of research, we have completed the modification of ASTM Standard D7261 to test water separation characteristics of both ULSD neat and B1-B20 blends. It has taken thousands of tests and the creation of a new coalescer cell (DB) for use in the Micro-Separometer in order to accurately test the wide range of diesel fuels in use today.

We have recently submitted a ballot to the responsible ASTM committee seeking review and approval of this new test. We are proud to have developed another product that will have a positive impact on fuel cleanliness.
