There are several reasons to upgrade from the Model 1140 Micro-Separometer Mark V to the newer Mark X.
In using our Model 1140 Micro- Separometer for use in accordance with ASTM methods D3948, D7224, and D7261, 50 µL of double-distilled water is to be added to 50 mL of fuel sample. Our Model 1140s come equipped with a 50 µL precision pipette for this purpose.
Our Model 1140 Micro-Separometer is routinely used to perform the tests covered by ASTM methods D3948, D4860, D7224, and D7261.
